 When using other disinfectants that are not
recommended by I.E.M., the burden of proof that
these can be used without causing damage lies with
the user. Never use disinfectants which leave
residues on the product or which are not suitable for
contact with the skin.

There are patients who have intolerances (e.g.
allergies) to disinfectants or its components. If you
have such patients or are not sure if you have such
patients, remove any potential residues by careful
washing. Wash the cuff sleeve with a mild detergent
in the washing machine at max. 30°C (without spin
drying). Ensure that any used disinfectants are
washed off, leaving no residues, before the blood
pressure sleeve is worn.
 Do not use fabric softeners or other additives (e.g.
hygiene rinses, textile deodorants). These agents
can leave behind residues and damage the material.
The cuff sleeve is not suitable for drying in a dryer.
The Velcro strip must always be closed before
washing.
