Please note
Fast moving parts may cause injury to
people in the vicinity of the DNCM−...−POT.
S Make sure that nobody can place his/
her hand in the positioning range of the
coupling plate or the moveable mass
(e.g. by means of a protective screen).
If the installation is properly protected,
it should not be possible to touch the
DNCM−...−POT until the work mass has
come to a complete stand.
S Make sure that no objects lie in or pro
ject into the positioning range of the
moveable mass.
When using the DNCM−...−POT as a measuring cylinder:
Close the one−way flow control valves in both compressed air connections at
S
first completely, then open them again approximately one turn.
The DNCM−...−POT will then traverse the complete positioning path slowly.
Pressurize the DNCM−...−POT as follows:
S
At first simultaneous pressurization of both sides. The piston rod will then
move forward slightly to a centre point of equilibrium.
Then exhaust one side.
When using the DNCM−...−POT with electronic closed−loop control:
Complete the teach procedure in accordance with the instructions in the man
S
uals for positioning controller type SPC−... (Soft Stop).
Start a test run.
S
Check to see if the following settings on the DNCM−...−POT or on the controller
S
need to be modified:
the zero balance
the speed
the response time points.
