Fitting instructions

1. Remove the floor covering and the inner coating in the trunk space. Disassemble the bumper and
permanently remove the metal buffer beam.
2. Shove the supporting arms (1) and (2) with points (A) in the liberated openings in the back of the chassis
beam. Points (A) match the provided drillings in the side of the chassis beam. Points (B) and (C)
matches the provided drillings and thread ends in the back side of the coachwork. Insert the bolts and the
washers without tightening.
3. Place the tow bar with points (D) and (E) between the supporting arms, insert the bolts and tighten firmly
(see tension).
4. Make an incision in the underside of the bumper according to figure 1. Assemble the bumper on the
vehicle.
Disassemblage of the bumper
- 2x3 plastic plugs on the splashboards
- 2x1 small screw vertically in the wheel case
- 2x1 small nut against the back side of the coachwork
- 4 small screws at the bottom of the bumper
Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
