• The blade unit consists of a blade (19), seal (20) and screw cap (24).
• The blade unit is designed to chop, cut, grind, mix, stir, blend and knead the contents of the mixing jug.
• The blade unit is inserted into the mixing jug before the appliance is shipped.
• To secure the blade unit in place, insert it into the mixing jug and hold it in place. Place the mixing jug on its side.
Place the screw cap (24) onto the bottom of the blade unit. Secure the cap in place by turning the tool (10) in a
clockwise direction.
• To remove the blade unit, place the mixing jug on its side without the lid
Place the tool around the edges of the screw cap. Unscrew the cap by turning
the tool anticlockwise. Carefully remove the blade unit from the mixing jug.
e) Mixing attachment
Never insert the spatula into the mixing jug when the mixing attachment (9) is in use.
Do not use the mixing attachment for kneading or cooking.
The speed setting must not exceed 4 when the mixing attachment is inserted.
Do not overfill the mixing jug.
Always add food or liquid to the mixing jug before stirring. Do not add any food to the jug during the mixing
process, as this may damage the mixing attachment.
Always handle the mixing attachment carefully to prevent the risk of injury.

f) Simmering basket
Do not hold the simmering basket (11) with bare hands during or after the steaming process, as escaping
steam may cause burns.
Place the simmering basket on a heatproof surface once the food has finished cooking.
• The simmering basket is designed to cook and steam small or chopped pieces of food. Add water to the mixing jug
(do not exceed the 0.5 L mark).

• The mixing attachment is designed to whip cream and egg whites and stir soups and
sauces.
• To insert the mixing attachment, place it onto the hexagonal bolt on the blade unit (19)

). The arms of the mixing attachment should sit between the blades. Turn the
