9. Setting up the multi-cooker
• Remove all the attachments from the packaging and check that no parts are missing or damaged. Do not use the
appliance if any of the parts are damaged.
• Clean the product and the attachments to remove any factory residues. For more information, see "13. Care and
cleaning" on page 36.
• Store the tool for removing the blade unit (10) in a safe location.
10. Inserting, removing and using the attachments
Always turn off the base station (2) before removing or inserting attachments or connecting/disconnecting
the appliance to/from the mains. Insert the necessary attachments before filling the mixing jug (23) or the
steamer (12).
a) Mixing jug
The mixing jug gets hot when the multi-cooker is switched on. Exercise caution to avoid burning yourself.
Always use the handle (22) to hold the mixing jug.
Never fill the mixing jug (23) above the MAX 2.0 L marking, otherwise the contents may splash or spill onto
the surrounding surface, and you may scald yourself.
Never heat the mixing jug when it is empty, otherwise it may overheat.
Protect the heating plate (1) and the bottom of the mixing jug against splashes, dripping water and dirt.

open lock symbol on the base station (2) (see
