13. Care and cleaning
The base station (2) is not dishwasher-safe. Never allow the base station or the mains cable to come into
contact with water or other liquids. Never rinse the base station or mains cable in running water, as this may
cause an electric shock.
The blade unit is very sharp and has the potential to cause injury. Always wait until the blade has come to a
complete standstill before removing or cleaning the blade unit.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Move the on/off switch (5) to the O position to turn the multi-cooker off, and then unplug the multi-cooker from the
mains socket.
• Remove all attachments. For more information, see "10. Inserting, removing and using the attachments" on page
28. Clean the attachments with warm water and washing-up liquid. The attachments are not dishwasher safe.
• Use a damp, soft cloth to clean the motor unit. The mains cable should be cleaned with a dry cloth.
• After you have finished cleaning and drying all of the attachments, reassemble the multi-cooker as described in
section "10. Inserting, removing and using the attachments" on page 28.
• Store the multi-cooker in a dry, dust-free location out of the reach of children.
