Establish a power connection
Note: This device may only be connected to the mains by a qualified person.
Before connecting to the mains, make sure that:
• the wiring in your home is suitable for the requirements of the unit,
• the voltage of the socket corresponds to the voltage stated on the type plate of the
device,
• the mains cable meets the requirements specified on the unit's rating plate.
Do not use adapters, reducers or branching devices to connect the hob to the mains, as
these can cause overheating and a fire hazard. The power supply cable must not touch
any hot parts and must be laid in such a way that the temperature does not exceed
75 °C at any point.
Note: If you are not sure whether the wiring in your home is suitable for this unit,
consult your electrician. All modifications should only be made by a qualified
electrician.
