Possible cause
No mains voltage
Wiring problem
No signal at the "Remote"-input
High voltage set too low
Label(s) between electrodes and
earth are too small or not fitted,
flash-over between electrode
and die
Output voltage set too high,
flash-over at electrode
Short-circuit between electrode
or high voltage cable and earth
Mains voltage too low
"Cycle OK"-output overloaded
Generator overheated or
overloaded
Solution
Switch on mains voltage 24V DC
Trace connection problem and
repair, see 5.3
Supply 24 V DC (±3 V)
"Remote"-input
Increase output voltage by
increasing setpoint (6.1/6.2/6.3)
Check presence label(s) or use
correct size, insulate electrode or
increase distance to die (part)
Lower output voltage by lowering
setpoint or increasing distance to
earth
Track and resolve short-circuit
Restore mains voltage 21-27 V DC
to M12-connector
Remove overload
(24 V DC >50 mA)
Surrounding temperature <55ºC,
resolve overload; see
aforementioned solutions
