Menus and settings:
1. Turn the button clockwise to increase the volume (displayed on the screen as a range from 0 to 100).
2. Turn the button anticlockwise to decrease the volume (displayed on the screen as a range from 100 to 0).
3. Press the button to access the menu and settings.
Menu
Turn the multifunction button clockwise and anticlockwise to navigate through the menu.
Press the multifunction button to select a function.
Several settings are available: INPUT, GAIN, PHASE, AMPLIFIER, DISPLAY, SLEEP, RESET, INFO, BACK.
To access the 'DISPLAY, SLEEP, RESET, INFO, BACK' settings, select
To return to the 'INPUT, GAIN, PHASE, AMPLIFIER' settings, select
INPUT: Allows you to select the input. Choice of: USB, COAX, TOSLINK, ANALOG.
GAIN: Allows you to adjust the output gain. There are two possible options: HIGH or LOW.
We recommend that you use 'LOW' mode with Focal headphones, and with any headphones with an
impedance of less than 150 ohms.
PHASE: Allows you to adjust the audio signal phase. 'NORMAL' corresponds to the in-phase audio signal,
'REVERSE' corresponds to the out-of-phase audio signal.
AMPLIFIER: Allows you to select different amplification modes or a specific mode for each of the Focal
headphones below (depending on the headphones). We advise you to check out the different settings to
find the one that works best with the impedance of your headphones.
VOLTAGE: This setting provides the technical features of a voltage amplifier.
HYBRID: This setting provides the combined technical features of a voltage amplifier and a current
amplifier.
UTOPIA: We recommend that you use this setting for Utopia headphones.
ELEAR: We recommend that you use this setting for Elear headphones.
CLEAR: We recommend that you use this setting for Clear headphones.
STELLIA: We recommend that you use this setting for Stellia headphones.
ELEGIA: We recommend that you use this setting for Elegia headphones.
DISPLAY: Allows you to access the following settings:
ON: The screen is always illuminated during use.
AUTO OFF: The screen goes off after 30 seconds if you do not touch the navigation/volume
LOW: Reduces the brightness of the screen.
NORMAL: For normal brightness of the screen.
HIGH: Increases the brightness of the screen.
SLEEP: Activates Arche's automatic stand-by mode if there is no user interaction or no audio is played
for more than 15 minutes. 'ENABLE' activates automatic stand-by mode. 'DISABLE' deactivates automatic
stand-by mode.
RESET: Allows you to restore the factory settings for the device. 'YES' restores the factory settings, 'NO'
cancels the request to restore the factory settings.
