2. Put the belt assembly tool (A) on top of the front
pulley.
3. Turn the front pulley clockwise with the combination
wrench (B). At the same time, push the drive belt
onto the pulley.

The product does not start. No
LEDs come on when you push
the On/Off button on the prod-
uct.

Cause
The battery is damaged.
The plug between the battery and the
product is damaged.
The battery is not correctly installed in
the product.
Servicing is necessary.

4. Attach the belt guard. Refer to
540i on page 3 .
To do a check of the water supply system
1. Examine the nozzles on the blade guard and make
sure that they are not clogged.
2. Clean as necessary.
3. Examine the filter on the water connector. Make sure
that it is not clogged.

5. Examine the hoses and make sure that they are not
damaged.
Solution
Do a test with a different battery.
Make sure that the power connectors
between the battery and the product are
not dirty or damaged.
Remove the battery and install it correct-
ly.
