Industrias Hergom, S.A. shall not accept any
liability arising from a defective installation or an
incorrect use of the furnace, and reserves the right
to modify their products without prior warning.
Warning
Devices that work on gas, wood or pellets become
hot during their operation.
As a consequence, care must always be taken.
Keep children, elderly or any other person
requiring special attention, including pets away
from the device, while in use.
Ensure that responsible people supervise children
or other people that are not familiarised with
how the machine works when they get close to it.
To protect against burns or to prevent children
or any other person that should not enter into
contact with the machine, place a fireguard or
separator.
We recommend using fireproof gloves when
handling the device.
Responsibility for manufacturing defects will
be subject to the criteria and verification of its
technicians and shall always be limited to the
repair or replacement of its products, according to
the warranty that accompanies each product.
How to act if your furnace overheats or if there is
a fire in the chimney?
If you detect an overheating in the furnace caused
by:
• A breakdown of the circulator
• A breakage of the thermostat
Stop the device to prevent breakages in the
cast iron pieces. For this, please follow these
recommendations:
• Do not load the device any more.
• Close all the air intakes to the device (primary
and secondary), and even close the air intakes
to the room where this has been installed. This
will help the flames to extinguish themselves.
If a fire were to appear in the chimney, follow the
same steps indicated above. Call the emergency
services as soon as possible.
