3.3 - ADJUSTING THE FLUE ON THE
H-03/70 FURNACE
The air for the combustion is taken through the
primary and secondary air valve. Fig. 8
To facilitate lighting the furnace and preventing
the formation of tar, we recommend opening the
primary air intake completely to enable abundant
air for the combustion.
This situation must remain so during the first
few times of use, with the purpose of obtaining
a fast heating of the furnace and chimney, thus
preventing the formation of condensation and tar
(creosote).
It is essential to perform a full load when lighting
it up. Subsequent loads will depend on the level of
heat required.
Adjust the air supply that reaches the combustion
once the furnace is hot. The recommendation is
to close the supply of primary air and adjust the
combustion with the secondary air valve, thus
achieving a good cleaning of the glass.
