3 - USER INSTRUCTIONS
The regulating valve enables adjusting the flue if
this were excessive.
Focus on the on the throttle valve of the chimney
and trigger the cylindrical knob on the upper
right-hand side of the door to adjust the fire. Pull
towards you to close the valve and away from you
to open it (Fig. 7). If there are no issues regarding
excessive flue, it is advisable to leave the valve
open and adjust the combustion with the primary
and secondary regulators located on the furnace
doors (see paragraph 3.3. ADJUSTING THE FLUE).
Use the butterfly valve only for chimneys with
excessive flue.

BEFORE OPENING THE FURNACE DOOR ENSURE
THAT THE REGULATION VALVE FOR THE FLUE IS
OPEN.

3.1 - VERIFICATION OF THE INSTALLATION
AND FIRST LIGHTING
Once the furnace has been installed in its final
location, you will need to verify the sealing of all
the joints, to prevent the entry of air from the
outside that may hinder the flue.
Before lining the furnace with bricks or any other
combustion material, it is convenient to verify
that it works properly. It is convenient to keep the
windows open the first time you light the furnace,
so that any smoke and smells that may occur due
to the combustion of the solvents in the protection
paint, or any other material can easily leave the
room.
Boiler: During the first uses, there is a possibility
that the sides of the boiler bulge out slightly
due to the hydraulic tests performed during the
manufacturing and quality assurance process,
which do not affect the safety or quality of the
boiler.
3.2 - LIGHTING THE H-03/70 FURNACE
To light the furnace, you will first need to create a
bed of paper on the cast iron background grid and
place a thin layer of branches or logs on top. Before
lighting this bed of paper, we recommend placing a
paper on the cast iron deflector located above the
combustion chamber, via the front door and light
it. This produces a rapid warming of the chimney
expelling cold air from its interior (especially on
cold winter days) producing flue and avoiding the
smoke coming out into the room.
Now, you can light the bed of paper and fine pieces
of wood. Leave the door slightly ajar for at least
20 minutes and once the flame has stabilised you
will be able to close the door. The device will adjust
itself through the primary and secondary air valves.
CAUTION! Any metallic elements of the furnace
can get very hot. Protect your hands with fire-
resistant gloves if you need to handle the furnace.
