    Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265 °F may cause explosion. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

    Optimum performance can be reached by recharging the tool for about 3 hours. It is not recommended that the tool be recharged for more than 24 hours. For use only with SKIL SC536301 (Output: 5V 1A) power supply or Listed/Certified Information Technology (Computer Equipment).
  • Page 13 Direction-of-Rotation (Forward/Center-Lock/Reverse) Selector After tool use, lock the direction-of-rotation selector in the “OFF” WARNING position (center-lock) to help prevent accidental starting . Your tool is equipped with a direction-of-rotation selector. This selector is designed to change the direction of rotation of the bit and to lock the trigger in the “OFF” (center-lock) position. a) Position the direction-of-rotation selector to the right for forward rotation.

This provides additional light on the surface of the work piece for operation in lower-light areas. The LED worklight will automatically turn on when the trigger switch is depressed, and turn off after the trigger switch is released.
