5.3 Operation
•
Before using the device, clean it following the instructions in 6.2 "Cleaning".
•
Ensure the spout is closed, and that the tank, drip tray and strainer are all in their
proper places.
•
Fill the tank with the desired pre-cooled beverage and place the lid on top.
•
First, connect the power cord to the adapter, then connect the device to a grounded,
single outlet and turn the drinks dispenser on (ON/OFF switch to "I"). The green
control light will come on.
•
The beverage's low temperature will be maintained for longer due to the cooling
element in the base of the device.
•
To dispense the cooled beverage, place a glass on the drip tray and press the spout
down. Pour the desired amount of beverage, then release the spout.
•
The tank may be refilled as needed.
•
Remember to regularly empty the drip tray so that it does not overflow.
•
If the device is to be unused, set the ON/OFF switch to "O" and remove the plug from
its socket, then disconnect the power cord from the adapter.
•
If the device is to be unused for a longer period of time, store it in a dry, clean place
protected from sunlight and not accessible to children. Do not place any heavy objects
on the device.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
6.1 Safety advice
o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power supply and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and
the plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets.
Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
