5. 2.Cortridge edjustment
The correct
p o s i t i o n of the pick-up stylus is determined by
'meons of the
pick-up gouge supplied. The gauge shell be fo
ened onto the TP 60 shall os shown in Figure 5 ond the
cortridge has to be odjusted in such a woy that its stylus is
situated i n the dimple of the gouge.
Vertical adjustment is done by selecting the right washers
tend/or spacers from the supplied
hordwore. Here o deviation
'of the needle in the mognitude af +1 mm is insignificant,
Horizentol adjustment is done by sliding the entire cartridge
in the plug-in shell ofter unscrewing its festening serews by
'one or two tuins. Here the correct adjustment (stylus in the
'gouge dimple) shell be done very carefully. A deviation
of only one millimeter in the horizontal plone w i l l cause ©
significant tracking error, thus producing distortion and
reducing the erots talk figure.
