5.2. Minimum requirements for commissioning
The commissioning is carried out through a system calibration. In this respect, "Vent-calibration" (see also Page 20) is
activated on the controller > Service menu 2: and the system starts the system characteristic curve.
The calibration takes around 3-5 minutes!
In case of unusual system pressures, the installation must be checked! Foreign bodies or incorrect installati-
on can be potentially responsible for this.
6.0 Service and maintenance
The filter change is usually carried out by the user. Additional cleaning and maintenance work must only be carried out
by qualified electricians.

The KWL unit must be fully isolated from the power supply and secured against reactivation with the main
isolator switch located on top of the unit before any cleaning and maintenance work.
Danger of electric shock, moving parts (fan) and hot surfaces.
6.1 Removing/cleaning cross counter flow heat exchanger

DANGER OF INJURY! From falling or down-folding covers/inspection openings!
Maintenance and service work should always be carried out by two persons!
Heat exchanger are very heavy and can contain condensation water!
1. Loosen the screws in the unit cover (Fig.13) and remove (Fig.14)
2. Loosen frost protection sensor WT from frame and carefully pull from the heat exchanger fins (Fig.15)
3. Remove the plug connection above the heat exchanger (Fig.16)
