5. If the electrical cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their
service department or somebody with similar qualifications in order to prevent
creating a hazard.
Failing to adhere to points 3, 4, 5, could lead to damage, fire and/or personal injury. They
will invalidate the guarantee and the supplier, importer and/or manufacturer shall not be
liable for the consequences

Set-up and operation
• Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After removing the
packaging, check the appliance for damage or other signs of a fault/defect/malfunction.
In case of doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your vendor for inspection or
replacement.
• Select a suitable location for the device taking into account all the aforementioned
warnings in this manual.
• Make sure that the heater is switched off (O pressed).
• Turn the thermostat dial to maximum (clockwise as far as possible).
• Then plug into a correctly functioning 230V socket.
• Turn the heater on by pushing the on/off switch on (I pressed). The heater will now
begin to disseminate hot air and the pilot light lights up.
• Once the desired temperature is reached, turn the thermostat dial back slowly until you
hear a click. The temperature is now set. The heater will automatically switch on and off
to maintain the set temperature. When the heater switches off, the pilot light turns off
as well. To set a higher or lower temperature, turn the thermostat dial either clockwise
or anticlockwise.
• If you want to turn the heater off, push the on/off switch and then remove the plug
from the socket.
Safety features
Tipping safeguard
The heater is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the appliance if
it inadvertently falls over. The heater will function as normal once it is returned to its
upright position. You are advised, however, to check the heater for damage and defects!
