Warranty for Consumer Transactions in the United Kingdom.
This warranty shall not apply to consumer transactions and shall not
affect the statutory rights of a consumer. In relation to such transac-
tions, the rights and obligations of Seller and Buyer shall be
determined by statute.
Service. Hewlett-Packard maintains service centers in most major
countries throughout the world. You may have your printer serviced
at a Hewlett-Packard service center any time it malfunctions, whether
the unit is under warranty or not. There is a charge for service after
the one-year warranty period.
Obtaining Service in the United States: Ship the printer to the
U.S Calculator Service Center, 1030 N.E. Circle Blvd., Corvallis,
OR 97330 (Telephone: (503) 757-2002).
Obtaining Service in Europe: Contact an HP entity listed on
page 61 for the address of the nearest service center. Do not ship
the printer to one of these addresses without first contacting
them.
Obtaining Service in Countries Outside the United States and
Europe: Not all Hewlett-Packard service centers offer service for
all HP calculator products. However, if you bought your printer
from an authorized HP dealer, you can be sure that service is
available in the country where you bought it. If you are outside
the country where you bought the printer, you can contact one
of the entities listed on page 61 or a local HP service center to
see if service is available for it. If service is unavailable, please
ship the unit to the United States Calculator Service Center. A
list of service centers for other countries can be obtained by writ-
ing to that address. All shipping, reimportation arrangements,
and customs costs are your responsibility.
When shipping the printer for service, you should include your return
address and description of the problem. If the one-year warranty has
not expired, also include a sales receipt or other documentary proof of
purchase date.
