6. General safety instructions

Damage caused by failure to observe these operating instructions will void the warranty. We shall
not be liable for any consequential damage.
We shall not be liable for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper handling or
failure to observe the safety instructions! Such cases will void the warranty/guarantee.
Normal wear and tear during use (e.g. worn tyres or worn-out gear wheels) and accidental damage (e.g.
broken suspension arms or a bent chassis) are excluded from the guarantee and warranty.
Safety instructions are designed to ensure the safe operation of the product and your personal safety.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is prohibited for safety and approval
reasons.
• Do not let the product become damp or wet. Do not use during rain.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, as it could become a dangerous toy for
children.
• Do not take any risks when using the product! Always use the model responsibly, otherwise you may
endanger yourself and your surroundings.

7. Safety instructions on batteries

Important:
• Also observe 6. General safety instructions on page 20.
Always observe the following safety information when handling batteries:
• Always observe the instructions of the manufacturer.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Rechargeable batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Observe the correct polarity when inserting/connecting batteries (observe plus/+ and minus/-).
• Remove the battery from the model, if you do not use it.
• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning your skin.
• Liquids leaking from batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these
liquids could be severely damaged.
• Always store batteries in suitable battery containers to prevent damage and/or short-circuits. Battery containers are
available in specialist shops.
