Assembly
Your lawnmower is ready for mowing after only a few
steps.
Handle
The lower handle is secured on both sides using the
handle support bolts (Fig. 2) and a clamping
arrangement inside the lawnmower chassis. For this,
release the M8 star-shaped knob and insert the
clamping pieces on the l.h. and r.h. side, flush with the
lawnmower chassis. Then tighten the star-shaped knobs
on both sides (Fig. 4). Position the upper handle on the

lower handle and secure on both sides with the M8 x 45
cheese head screws and 8.4 mm washers, by tightening
the M8 star-shaped knobs on the inside of the handle
(Fig. 3). Secure both Bowden cables with their guides
on the handle.
Please note: Ensure that the Bowden cables
are not kinked or damaged anywhere during
shipping.
Starter handle inside the cord guide
Release the engine brake by pushing the brake bar
against the handle. Position the starter handle in the
cord guide on the upper handle (Fig. 7).
Note: Ensure when folding and unfolding the handle,
that the Bowden cables are not kinked.
Folding the handle
When folding the handle
- Unhook the starter cord from the cord guide
(item 4).
- Release both clamping facilities above the
star-shaped knob and remove from the lawnmower
chassis.
- Position the lower handle backwards into the
vacated recess in the chassis.
- Release the handle fixing (item 15).
- Fold the upper handle forward.
Grass catcher
Please note: Only install/remove the grass
catcher with the engine stopped.
Pull the grass catcher bag over the frame and lock the
plastic tabs into the frame in the order 1-2-3-4 (Fig. 5).
Push the grass catcher bag frame so far together that
the handle locks into the opposite side (Fig. 6).
To install the grass catcher (item 6), lift up the discharge
deflector (item 7), hook the grass catcher bag frame
into the lower guide on the mower chassis (1), and tip
up (2), until the grass catcher locks (3) into the
discharge deflector (item 7) (Fig. 8).
Please note: The discharge chute deflector is
designed for your personal safety. Your
lawnmower will be ready for use in only a
few steps. The deflector (item 7) must be permanently
closed when using the lawnmower without grass
catcher (item 6).
