1.14.1 Discover visible spectral somain
Use the graduated scale (in nm=nanomètre; 1 nm = 1/1000000000
of a meter) and scan the visible domain on the Sun or a standard lamp
with a continuous spectrum.

1.14.2 Solar spectrum
Put the solar scale on your Lhires Lite. Look at the solar spectrum,
specially where there are indication on the scale.
Look at the sodium doublet (Na): how many line can you count
between those two sodium lines? _________
Compare what you see with the solar spectrum sheet provided with
your Lhires Lite. What element can you recognized with the absorption
line right in the middle of the two Na (sodium) lines? _________
