1.11.2 Set Up

Choose a sunny day... Setup your Lhires Lite on a photographic
tripod (mount at bottom of your Lhires Lite is a standard Kodak
photographic thread).
Put the eyepiece in the eyepiece holder, leaving 5mm of space (the
eyepiece holder is short to allow use of webcam). Lock the screw.
Point the Lhires Lite toward the Sun. Use the gnomon (the stick that
extend from the Lhires Lite, like sundial stick) so it's shadow disapears –
the solar light then goes straight into the slit.
