Previewing your journey
This feature lets you preview (simulate) a route
without actually going anywhere. If you have the
time, it's a good idea to preview any trip. Scouting
out restaurants, gas stations and other destinations
in advance will help you navigate with ease.
Turn route guidance simulation on
1.
Tap the navigation options button (F3).
2.
Tap Setup.
3.
Tap Navigation Preferences.
4.
Tap Simulation Off to change it to Simulation
On.
The simulation icon replaces the GPS signal
strength icon along the left edge of the screen.
5.
Tap the exit button (F1) to close Setup.
N.I.C.E. P200
Define your current location
1.
If necessary, tap your location on the map.
Crosshairs appear and the N.I.C.E. P200
centers the point you touched on the screen.
If the address is not on the map, tap the map in
the direction of the address as if your finger was
doing the traveling.
Continue tapping the map until you find the
location.
2.
Press the select location button (F5).
The N.I.C.E. P200 displays the selected
location as a list option.
3.
Tap the name to confirm the location.
4.
Tap Set Vehicle Position.
The red arrow moves to this position.
