The set statuses of main unit ID, tilt tightening
reduction, repeat tightening prevention, and
impact speed setting corresponding to length
of socket used are displayed in sequence.
For example, when the tilt tightening reduc-
tion feature is enabled, the repeat tighten-
ing prevention is set to 0.5 seconds, and
the impact speed corresponding to length of
socket used is set to h1, the display is as fol-
lows:
"H7" → "R1" → "U2"→ "h1"

Error Display
In the event of a tool or battery pack malfunction, the control panel will display an error message.
Please check the tool or battery pack as described in the following chart before having them ser-
viced.

When the tightened bolt is further tightened or loosened, the overload protection function (E5)
may be activated.

Likely cause
Setting error
The battery pack is too hot.
The tool is too hot to operate.
The contacts that connect the
battery pack and tool are dirty.
The battery pack has not been
properly inserted into the tool.
The pins on either the tool or
battery pack have worn down.
Overload, Motor failure. etc.
Tool circuit malfunction, failure,
etc.
NOTE:
When the tool is set remotely, the signal
generated from another tool nearby may
be received by accident.
To prevent such cases, set the tool in
another room if possible, or keep a dis-
tance from other tools.

Confirm the set status of tightening
time reminder
Press the C button.
The set value of tightening time and the current
tightening time are displayed in sequence.
For example, "50" → "35"
Re-initialize the tool using the
remote control. (See page 25.)
Stop work and allow the battery
pack to cool before resuming use
of the tool.
Stop work and allow the tool to
cool before resuming use.
Remove any dirt.
Insert the battery pack firmly into
the tool.
Replace the battery pack.
Stop using the tool immediately.
