Indications:
Lumbosciatica, invertebral disc protrusions / prolapse, radicular irritation
syndrome, degenerative lumbar change, condition following invertebral disc
surgery, stable fractures, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis and spinal canal ste-
nosis.
Contraindications:
Lymphatic drainage disorders including unclear soft tissue swelling, sensory
disturbances and circulatory disorders in the specifi c body region, skin dis-
eases in the specifi c part of the body.
Composition:
84 % polyamide, 16 % spandex
Important note:
No reutilisation – this medical device is meant for the care of one patient
only. Wear splint only when under strain, not during rest or sleep. Avoid
hindering blood circulation. In case of numbness loosen splint and remove it
if necessary. If complaints continue, please contact the doctor.

Following this, attach the hand straps to the velour using
the micro Velcro provided.
Observe here that the patient still feels good and is not
strangulated. Within the course of this fi tting process, the
BORT Generation Back Brace is fully fi tted to the anatomy
and interlocks.
If the lower part of the brace ends with the hip-bend when
sitting, the brace is correctly positioned.
To take off the brace, detach the Velcro on the cable con-
trol hand straps and then open the front fastener.
