Disconnect the earth lead from the battery.

Remove the boot floor covering, the cladding of the rear end panel and both taillights. Remove the left side cladding
(on station wagons, also the right side cladding).
3.
To lead through the cable strand (socket connection) remove the vehicle-side cover of the rear-end panel.
4.
Connect cable set in the following way:
a)
Draw 7-connector end of cable set with installed socket through the hole referred to in point three from
boot outside and then through the hole in socket base.
Mount the rubber grommet in the hole
b)
There are two different washers under the socket. One is used by side entrance of leads, the other - in axis
entrance.
Side entrance: used in permanent assembly of tow hook with closed socket holder and detached tow
hook with folded socket holder. In such event, remove overpass in casing of connection socket.
Note !!! Use washer under socket assigned to side entrance for folded socket holder. Remove the othe
washer assigned for axis entrance (it will not be used).
Axis entrance: used in permanent assembly of tow hook with opened socket holder and detached tow
hook without folded socket holder.
Remove washer assigned for side entrance (it will not be used).
c)
Socket is connected according to the following scheme:

The black 3P plug (grey/white chamber 1 and grey chamber 3) is to be laterally fixed in the socket for a microswitch.
a)
Push the socket with rubber retaining plate and screw the socket tightly onto the retaining plate using the
supplied nuts and screws:

Pay special attention to the right position of rubber retaining plate,
c)
Put the cable set gently to avoid any folds and to secure it from possible wiping.
