Attaching the battery pack
The power source for the camera recorder on which
the unit is installed can be selected using the unit's
POWER switch.
When a battery pack is to be used as the camera
recorder's power source, set the unit's POWER switch
to the BATT position.
To use the battery pack, there is the following
choice of makes of batteries:
O Panasonic
O Anton-Bauer
O IDX
O PACO
O Sony
<Notes>
O For details on the types of battery packs which can
be used and the settings to be performed after the
battery pack is attached, refer to the operating
instructions of the camera recorder.
O Batteries of other makes can also be supported by
changing the setting menu but no guarantees are
made for the system when they are actually used
with this unit.
O Before using the battery pack, recharge the battery
using the battery charger.
(For details on the recharging method, refer to the
operating instructions of the battery concerned.)

Attach the battery pack made by Anton Bauer.
Power output connector for lighting
<Note>
When the battery holder's power output connector for
lighting is used, use the unit's power output connector
for lighting. Do not use the camera recorder's power
output connector for lighting.

To disengage the battery pack, slide it in the
direction of the arrow while the battery holder's
release lever is kept pulled all the way down.

Intelligent battery systems or ultra-light systems are
not supported.
The remaining battery charge appearing inside the
viewfinder always indicates a voltage level.
