Thank you for purchasing the AJ-CA905G camera adapter (which will be referred to as "the unit" in these
instructions).
Installing the unit on a camera recorder and using a 26-pin multi-cable to connect the camera recorder with a
remote control unit (AJ-RC905) makes it possible to operate the camera recorder as a system camera and
broaden the range of the applications and uses of the camera recorder.
Camera recorders which support the unit:
AJ-SDC615, AJ-SDC905
To ascertain whether any other camera recorders are compatible with the unit, consult your dealer.
Precautions:
O Before changing the position of the unit's POWER switch (from RCU to BATT or vice versa), set the camera
recorder's power switch to OFF.
If the unit is to be used with its POWER switch at the RCU position, be absolutely sure to set the power switch
of the remote control unit (AJ-RC905) to ON first, and then set the camera recorder's power switch to ON.
O Even when the camera recorder's power is turned off, the unit's INCOM (Inter-Communication) circuit will
remain active.
O If the unit's power is to be turned off while a battery pack is being used as the camera recorder's power
source, set the unit's POWER switch to the RCU position, and then turn off the power of the remote control
unit.
In this case, however, the camera recorder's LCD display will be cleared.
O The microphone which is used for INCOM (Inter-Communication) is set to the "carbon type" at the factory.
Since switching to the "dynamic type" requires a change in the position of the internal switch inside the unit,
consult your dealer when putting together your system.
