11.2 Two collector installation: 200/4 - 300/4 -
300/5
Start the assembly of the system starting from the
bracket kit for fl at roof with double collector (Fig. 38)
following the instructions below.
STEP 1 - 5
Refer to the paragraph (11.1 Single collector installation:
160/2,5 - 200/2,5).
Attach the left and right diagonal support bars P45
between the collector support bars and the pillars
as shown in the (Ábra 38).
Attach both upper and lower guides to the collec-
tor support bars. Join the guides with the appropriate
joining elements (Fig. 39).
Drill holes, insert bolts and tighten.
Assemble the middle pillar on the upper collector joint
of the collector (Fig. 41). Make sure the two collector
guides are aligned. Find and drill the hole for fi xing the
middle pillar, then fi x it to the ground.
Install and tighten the fi xing bolts of the pillars in the
holes (Ábra 41) previously made as indicated in STEP 1.
Perform a fi nal check to make sure that the pillars are
vertical and tighten the bolts.
9
Do not remove the collector cover! Remove it only
after the collector has been connected and fi lled
with heat transfer fl uid.
STEP 10
Install the junctions hydraulic fi ttings on the fi rst col-
lector. Carefully place the fi rst collector on the support
guides and secure it with the 4 bolts (Fig. 43). Use 24mm
washers and tighten enough to allow movement.
STEP 11
Carefully slide the second collector into place, making
sure the hoses connect properly to the hydraulic fi ttings
(Fig. 44).
9
Do not remove the collector cover! Remove it only
after the collector has been connected and fi lled
with heat transfer fl uid. Make sure that excessive
force is not applied to the absorber.
9
Install the second collector bolts. Tighten the hy-
draulic connection and then the collector bolts.
Use a second tool to tighten the hydraulic fi tting to
avoid damaging the absorber tubes.
9
DO NOT USE power tools to tighten collector bolts.
STEP 6
STEP 7
STEP 8
STEP 9
Be sure not to detach the threaded rivets from the
collector body by overtightening the bolts.
To position the boiler, refer to steps 8-10 of the pa-
ragraph (11.1 Single collector installation: 160/2,5 -
200/2,5).
To install the fi ttings and hydraulic connections, refer to
the paragraph (12 OPERATION FOR ALL MODELS).
12 OPERATION FOR ALL MODELS
Connections on the collector 160-200/2,5 - (Fig. 45)
Connections on the collector 200/4 - 300/4 - 300/5 -
(Fig. 46)
Connections on the storage tank - (Ábra 21)
Make sure that the pipes are well stretched in order to
guarantee the correct natural recirculation of the heat
transfer fl uid.
9
Before fi lling the system, perform an inspection of
the pipes to make sure that they are installed cor-
rectly and that all fi ttings are tight. For system fi lling
see (16 FILLING THE SOLAR COLLECTOR CIRCUIT)
9
Make sure that you comply with all applicable lightning
protection and building potential compensation legis-
lation.
On completion of assembly, make sure that our solar
water heating system is perfectly stable.
0
Never attempt to install the system without using
the personal protection equipment and without
following the safety precautions specifi ed by appli-
cable occupational safety standards.
13 SYSTEM WATER CONNECTIONS
Refer to the (Fig. 47) and (Fig. 48).
The water supply circuit must permit the storage cylin-
der to be fi lled and emptied in safety. Shut-off valves
must therefore be easily accessible to the user and the
operation of emptying the storage cylinder must not
create any risk of fl ooding or other damage.
9
All water pipe connections must conform to appli-
cable standards.
9
The operating pressure limits specifi ed on the data
plate must never be exceeded. It may therefore be
necessary to fi t a pressure reducer.
9
A thermal mixing valve must always be connected
to the hot water outlet to control the temperature
of hot at the taps.
9
The point through which the water pipes enter the
building must be rain-proof and damp-proof.
