1.1 Safety

appliance, ensure that this will only happen

structions by a person responsible for their
safety. Children must be supervised to ensu-
re that they never play with the appliance.

1.2 Equipment description

The solar control unit SOM 6 plus is used with
standard solar heating systems.
An innovative, multi-functional combi display
makes for easy operation.
With this, the standard system is stored in the
controller and is shown in the display as a
system diagram.
Information about functions and the operating
status of the device is displayed in easy-to-
understand pictograms.
The central user interface is the three-
pushbutton panel under the combi LCD.
The controller offers 4 sensor inputs, a solar
hours run meter, manual operating mode and
the following special functions:
- Maximum cylinder temperature
- Collector cooling function
- Tube collector function
- Collector emergency stop
- Drainback
