The following symbols provide garment
care direction. The clothing care labels
include symbols for drying, bleaching,
drying and ironing, or dry cleaning when
necessary. The use of symbols ensures
consistency among garment manufacturers
of domestic and imported items. Follow
care label directions to optimize garment
life and reduce laundering problems.

Water temperature
NOTE
The temperature range for Hot is 135 °F
(57 °C) or below, 95 °F (35 °C) or below
for Warm, and 68 °F (20 °C) or below for
Cold. Wash water temperature must be a
minimum of 60 °F (16 °C) for detergent
activation and effective cleaning.
