Safety Information
Following safety information must be read and respected before start-up and operation of the ultrasonic cleaning unit:
•
Any person using this product must have read and understood this manual. Keep this manual close to the device;
it must be permanently accessible to the operator. This will prevent operator error and ensure operation free of
trouble.
•
Check your device for any transport damage. If you find shipping damage, the device must not be connected to
the mains.
•
The power cord must be removed from the socket only by pulling the plug, do not pull at the cable. The plug must
not be touched with wet / damp hands.
•
Power cords must be routed without loops and must not be bent or wrapped around sharp edges.
•
The intended use of the ultrasonic cleaning unit is described in this documentation and must be followed.
•
Insufficient information about handling or operation can cause irreparable damage and injuries. As a result, the
unit must be operated by trained personnel only.
•
The ultrasonic cleaning unit must be located on a dry, hard and flat horizontal surface.
•
The ultrasonic cleaning unit must be connected to the supply voltage specified on the rating label only. The mains
connection must be designed for the rated power consumption.
Always use the correct power cord or –adapter for the available socket outlet.
•
Only use cleaning liquids which are approved for use with ultrasonic energy.
•
Cleaning liquid in use becomes hot. When cleaning temperature sensitive parts check temperature of cleaning
liquid frequently.
•
Flammable or explosive liquids and liquids which will corrode the tank material (CrNi steel 1.4301) must not be
used. Liquids which contain halogens (chlorine, bromine or iodine ions) can cause irreparable damages.
•
Never switch on the ultrasonic cleaning unit without cleaning liquid. The cleaning tank must be filled at least to 7/8
of volume (approx. up to the seam). Also ensure that the tank is filled enough during operation.
•
The temperature rise of the cleaning liquid caused by heaters or ultrasonic energy can result in steaming. Ensure
adequate ventilation at the environment of installation.

Fluid must not get inside the unit. Wipe off any fluid which has slopped over and is leaking down the side walls as
soon as possible
•
The items to be cleaned must not be placed directly on the bottom of the tank. Use a suitable cleaning basket.
•
Never leave the ultrasonic cleaning unit unattended during operation.
•
If the unit does not have to be ready for operation, disconnect it from the power supply (unplug it from mains).
•
Never operate the unit if it has been damaged. Inspect the device and the power cord for outer damages
frequently. Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
•
Observe the statutory regulations when disposing of the cleaning liquid and disposing the unit.
