- Page 8 General / Start-up GENERAL 2.1. Intended purpose / lifetime The USC ultrasonic cleaning units were especially developed for cleaning tasks in laboratory facilities of commercial use. The expected life time of the USC ultrasonic cleaning units depends basically on the quality of maintenance and cleaning.

Operating elements The devices have a mechanical timer which allows an adjustable time set of ultrasonic operating up to 30 minutes or continuous operation.

Persistency of the front overlay to solvents The front overlay is based on a polyester foil with a biaxial alignment and has therefore a higher persistence against solvents compared with e.g. polycarbonate or PVC. It is stronger and more durable than other foils generally used for plastic foil keyboards and front panels.
