20. Turn off the device, remove the plug from the power outlet and let the device cool
down before you touch-, install-, dislocate-, clean- or maintain it.
21. The warning not to cover the device must also be placed in a clearly visible location
after installation: it should not therefore be on the back!
22. Do not use this terrace radiator as sauna heating or as a space heater, and do not use
it in a kennel or other location where there are animals present.
23. Never dip the terrace radiator, electric cable or plug in water or any other liquid.
24. Handle the device with care and prevent vibrations and heating.
Caution! Never leave the device unsupervised when in use, but switch it off and unplug.
Do not use the device with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the
device on automatically. Also do not use the device with an external voltage regulator
such as dimmer, speed controller etc. That produces hazard too!
Assembly
Remove all the packaging material and keep the packaging material away from children.
Check that all the parts are present. Ensure that definitely no packaging material has
remained around the 'head' of the radiator (lamp, cap and switches). Ensure there is a
clear work space and keep flammable materials out of the area.
Check the device, the electrical cable and the plug for damage. Do not connect the
device to the mains if you notice any damage!
Do not connect the terrace radiator to the mains before it is fully assembled!
To assemble the patio heater, you need a suitable open-ended wrench and a
screwdriver.
Follow the instructions below step by step. In case of any doubt, consult your dealer.
Step 1: Attach the bottom tube on to the base by screwing them to each
other.
Step 2: Attach the top (telescopic) tube unto the bottom tube by
screwing them to each other.
