9. Troubleshooting
No picture, no sound
• Check the voltage/power supply (power adapter) and the outdoor and indoor units for proper wiring.
Door opener does not function
• Check the door opener of the outdoor unit for proper wiring.
• The video door intercom system can control two door openers.
It should be noted that if you press the "
power directly (15 V/DC, max. 1.2 A).
Use the "
" button (7) to control the second door opener. The corresponding switching output of the video door
intercom system is potential-free. Therefore, this door opener requires an additional external voltage/power supply.
If you press the door opener, the monitor will go out for a few seconds.
• This is normal.
Flickering picture on the monitor of the indoor unit
• This is caused by backlight or reflecting objects in the area of t he outdoor unit camera.
Image is too bright or too dark, bad colours
• Adjust brightness and contrast of the indoor unit differently; see chapter 8. h).
10. Care and cleaning
This product does not require maintenance. Repair or maintenance work must be carried out by a technician or a spe-
cialist repair centre. Under no circumstances should you service any of the components in the interior of the product.
A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning the exterior.
Clean the transparent cover of the camera in the outdoor unit and the front surface of the indoor unit very carefully to
prevent scratches. Do not press too hard on the display!
Dust on the indoor unit can be easily removed with a long-haired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may damage the casing or
cause the product to malfunction.
