CAB AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT

1.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
2.
Turn the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
3.
Inside the cab, remove the screw (1, Fig. AM), then remove the panel (2).
4.
Unscrew the knobs (1, Fig. AN) and remove the panel (2).
5.
Remove the cab air fi lter (1, Fig. AO).
6.
Install the new fi lter (1, Fig. AO) with the arrows (2) pointing in the direction shown in the fi gure (direction of the air fl ow).
7.
Perform steps 3 and 4 in the reverse order.

WHEEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Preliminary operations
1.
Turn the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
2.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
3.
Check that the machine cannot move with one wheel lifted (the parking brake operates only on the front wheels). If necessary
keep the machine stationary by placing wedges on the wheels contacting the ground.
4.
If the jack is the one supplied with the machine (optional), loosen the mounting handwheel (25, Fig. D) and remove the jack
(34). Fetch the jack control lever (35, Fig. D).
5.
Remove the wheel according to the following procedure.
Front wheel removal/installation
1.
Place a jack (1, Fig. AP) under the relevant housing (2) on the machine side sill, in front of the wheel (3) to be removed.
2.
Loosen tire nuts before jacking.
WARNING!
The jack (1, Fig. AP) is not part of the machine equipment. Use a suitable jack with a minimum lifting capacity of
2 tons.
3.
Activate the jack (1, Fig. AP) carefully, and lift the wheel (3) until it is slightly detached from the ground.
4.
Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the wheel (3, Fig. AP).
5.
Install the wheel (3, Fig. AP) by performing steps from 5 to 7 in the reverse order.
Wheel mounting nut tightening torque: 400 N·m.
Rear wheel removal/installation
1.
Place a jack (1, Fig AQ) under the relevant housing (4) in the rear axle (2), near the wheel to be removed.
2.
Loosen tire nuts before jacking.
WARNING!
The jack (1, Fig. AQ) is not part of the machine equipment. Use a suitable jack with a minimum lifting capacity of
2 tons.
3.
Activate the jack (1, Fig. AQ) carefully, and lift the wheel (3) until it is slightly detached from the ground.
4.
Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the wheel (3, Fig. AQ).
5.
Install the wheel (3, Fig. AQ) by performing steps from 9 to 11 in the reverse order.
Wheel mounting nut tightening torque: 400 N·m.
