2. General information and features
The appliance has been manufactured in accordance with all current regulations. However, the ap-
pliance may be a source of risk if it is used incorrectly or in a manner that does not comply with its
intended use. One must be fully aware of the contents of this handbook in order to avoid hazards
and errors, and this also allows the appliance to be used safely and reliably.
The information on the appliance, in compliance with the regulations (EU)2015/1095 and
(EU)2019/2024, can be found in the product database ("EPREL") accessible by scanning the QR -
Code on the energy label (where present) or by directly accessing the European Union portal.
2.1 Intended use
According to current European regulations, the appliance covered by this User's manual belongs to
the following category:
TN models: vertical chilled;
BT models: vertical frozen;
TNG models: vertical or combined supermarket refrigerator cabinet;
DTV models: not included in the European regulation on energy labelling at the time of the
creation of this handbook.
The ventilated refrigerated cabinets are solely and exclusively intended for refrigerating food and
drinks at the temperatures indicated in Table 2 (Technical data - Section 9)
All food and beverages must be closed in suitable food storage containers before being placed
inside the refrigerated cabinets.
The ventilated refrigerated cabinets are designed for PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.
These refrigerated cabinets are intended for use in restaurants, bars, food shops, etc.
The appliance only operates in complete safety when it is used according to its intended use.
2.2 Improper and incorrect use
Use of the appliance for different purposes from its intended use is forbidden, and will be consid-
ered an improper and incorrect use, not compliant with its intended use. No claims may be made
towards the manufacturer and/or its representatives for damages arising as a result of use of the
appliance which does not comply with the intended use. The user is solely responsible for damages
caused during use of the appliance which does not comply with the intended use.
The appliance was designed to be used within the temperature and humidity ranges indicated in
Table 2 (Technical data - Section 9). Use of the appliance at a temperature and/or humidity level
outside the specified range can result in unexpected operational anomalies and faults.
ATTENTION! The appliance is not suitable for use in environments such as phar-
macies, hospitals, analysis laboratories, etc., i.e. in all those applications that re-
quire dual temperature control, power supply alarms, and recording temperature
variation over time.
Any use of the appliance other than its intended use is absolutely prohibited, as is any tampering.
Above all, please note that:
It is forbidden to use the appliance if you are not authorized and adequately trained operators;
It is forbidden to use the appliance in a different way than that for which it was designed, as
well as that described in this manual;
It is forbidden to use the appliance without the protections provided for each process, as well
as to eliminate parts of them (if present, it is forbidden to disassemble the fixed and movable
guards, as well as to bypass the safety micro switches);
