Intended Use
The Hoyer Smart Monitor is a control system for Hoyer Lifts. The Smart Monitor stores useful lift
data about the lift that can be recalled when required. This lift data includes:
• Number of patient lift cycles
• Total work done by actuator
• Number of lift overloads (attempted lifts above the safe working load)
• Number of days in service
The Hoyer Smart Monitor contains a microprocessor inside making it possible to read out lift data
via the on-board LCD screen.
