1..Fit.the.sling.around.the.user..Make.
sure.the.user's.arms.are.on.the.out-
side.
2..Suspend.the.sling.from.the.hooks.
on.the.slingbar.
Sources of errors/User sitting incorrectly
–. Is.the.lifting.sling.the.right.size?.
The.sling.is.too.small.if.the.leg.sup-
ports.do.not.reach.at.least.halfway.
down.the.inside.of.the.thigh.and.
the.slingbar.is.too.close.to.the.face.
–. Is.the.sling.positioned.correctly?.
The.sling.may.not.have.been.pulled.
far.enough.down.the.back.when.
being.fitted.round.the.user..
–. Are.all.the.straps.lifting.simul-
taneously?.If.the.sling.straps.lift.
unevenly,.the.sling.may.slide.up.the.
user's.back,.causing.the.user.to.slip.
down.into.the.sling.hole.
