Operation
Gas knob
The gas knob is used to switch the respective
gas burner on and off and to regulate the
flame.
„High flame" = highest heat output
„Low flame" = lowest heat output
Ignition
► First push in the toggle of the respective burner to the stop and then turn the
knob to the left (anticlockwise) to "high flame".
─ The gas escaping at the burner is ignited by the ignition sparks.
If the flame does not appear immediately, try to ignite it with the gas knob in
"low flame" or medium position.
When igniting a burner, sparks are produced at both burners. This does not
indicate a fault.
Do not press in the toggle for more than 15 seconds. If the burner still fails
to ignite, release the toggle and open the door for at least one minute to
ventilate the room before trying again to ignite the burner.
After successful ignition, keep the toggle pressed for another 5 to 7
seconds to ensure that the gas nozzle remains open (as the heat sensor is
sufficiently heated).
If the toggle is released too quickly, the flame dies again.
Each burner is separately protected!
This means that no gas can escape if there is no flame (e.g. due to
overspilling food).
