Notes regarding fule
Fuels with ethanol content (e. g. E10)
Fuels with a high ethanol content have, unlike fuels
with a low or no ethanol content, an aggressive effect
on materials and may destroy such. Also fuels with
ethanol content react to influences such as light,
temperature and storage time. For this reason, these
fuels should only be stored in special, approved can-
isters. The storage time should not exceed 30 days.
It is recommended to empty the fuel tank and the
steam separator when the motor requires a longer
time to switch off.
All LUX products are designed for use with fuels with
ethanol content (E10).
Fuels with ethanol content (e. g. E10) for two-
stroke motors
2-stroke motors must be set by a qualiifed service
specialist for use with fuels with ethanol content (eth-
anol content greater than 5 %). In doing so, country-
specific environmental guideslines must be adhered
to.
Special fuel for two-stroke motors
Observe all notes for the mixing ratio in these oper-
ating instructions. Some ready-mixed fuels or spe-
cial fuels (e. g. Aspen 2t or Stihl Motomix) are only
intended for use in a ratio of 1:50.
