Conditions for tested person
–
There must be an interval of at least 15 minutes after alcohol has been
taken into the mouth! Actual residues of alcohol in the mouth may enhance
the measured values. Higher measured values may also be caused by
some foods, aromatic drinks (e.g. fruit juices), alcoholic mouthwashes or
mouth sprays, medicines and drops, as well as after burping and vomiting.
Rinsing out the mouth with water or non-alcoholic drinks are not a substitute
for the allotted waiting time!
–
Breathe evenly and normally before the measurement.
