1. Place the device on a dry, level and solid surface.
2. Fold the device open and insert the slide in the guide track. Make sure that the hook
on the bottom of the slide is securely seated in the guide track.
3. Place the fi nger guard on the slide. The studs must be facing inwards in the process
(towards the guide wall).
4. Place the food to be sliced between the fi nger guard and the guide wall.
8. Push the slide forward (away from you). In the process, push the food to be cut gently
against the guide wall with the fi nger guard.
9. Once a slice has been cut off completely, pull the slide back again.
10. Repeat steps 7-9 until you have cut the desired number of slices.
11. Pull the mains plug out of the socket if you are not using the device.
12. Clean the device when there is any leftover food on the cutter blade (see chapter
"Cleaning").
Cleaning
ATTENTION!
❐ The cutter blade is very sharp! Be careful when handling the device!
❐ Pull the mains plug out of the socket before cleaning the device.
❐ Never submerge the device in water or other liquids!
❐ The device and the accessories are not suitable for the dishwasher!
❐ Never touch the device, the cord or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Do not use any scouring or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the device.
They could damage the surface.
1. Make sure that the mains plug has been removed from the plug socket.
2. Take the fi nger guard off of the device for cleaning and pull the slide up.

5. Set the slice thickness using the adjusting knob by turning
it in a clockwise direction. The current slice thickness is
displayed at the top of the device (setting from 0 to 15 mm
possible).
6. Connect the device to a properly installed, easily acces-
sible socket.
7. Push the safety switch and the On/Off switch at the same
time. The cutter blade will rotate. As soon as you release
one of the switches again, the cutter blade will come to a
stop. You cannot turn the device on without depress-
ing also the safety switch.
3. Loosen the locking screw in the middle of the cutter blade
by turning it anticlockwise. Then carefully remove the
blade.
