Proper use
❐ This device is designed for cutting food such as bread, cheese, sausage.
❐ The device is intended for domestic, not commercial, use.
❐ Only use the device for the intended purpose and only as described in the instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed improper.
❐ Defects arising due to improper handling, damage or attempts to repair are excluded
from the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

Risks of injury
❐ Keep children and pets away from the packaging. Danger of suffocation exists!
❐ This device is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with restricted sen-
sory or intellectual abilities or with a lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they
are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions
from that person as to how to use the device. Children must be under supervision to
ensure that they do not play with the device.
❐ The cutter blade is very sharp! Be careful when handling the device! Always use
the slide and the fi nger guard for cutting.
❐ Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair away
from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating device parts.
For your health
❐ There may be some production residues stuck to the device. To avoid health risks,
clean it thoroughly before fi rst use and when there is any leftover food on the cutter
blade to prevent the buildup of germs (see chapter "Cleaning").
Proper setup and connection
❐ Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. The mains cord may also
not be accessible for children. They could pull the device down with it.
❐ Only use the device in enclosed areas.
❐ Always place the device on a dry, level and solid surface with adequate space on all
sides.
❐ Maintain adequate distance to heat sources such as stovetops or ovens in order to
prevent damages to the device.
❐ To prevent electrical shocks, set up the device so that there is no risk of the device,
the mains cord or plug falling in or coming into contact with water or other liquids.
Never submerge the device in water or other liquids! If the device falls in water, im-
mediately disconnect the power supply.
❐ Never use the device on a stovetop or if a gas source is nearby.
