19 x 25 with slot 22) between the lower canine and the first
lower premolar (fig. 6). The SUS³ arch adapter can be also
fixed in position between the lower lateral and lower canine
if required, e.g. in the case of a missing premolar. A L-shaped
bend is necessary to achieve this (fig. 7), or the SUS³ ball
retainer clasp with the telescope element can be fixed onto
the upper second molar. Fully tighten the hexagon socket
screw using the hexagon socket key (REF 607-144-00). The
arch adapter should not come into contact with the bracket so
the arch does not get jammed in the arch adapter. Use a screw
securing adhesive , e.g. Ceka
6. Activating the SUS³
6.1. Spacer rings. Standard activation is completed using the
1 mm and 2 mm spacer rings supplied (REF 607-103-11 and
REF 607-104-11). Depending on requirements, one or several
spacer rings can be clamped on the SUS³ telescope rod using
