TYPES OF BILL COUNTER COUNTING OPTIONS
This bill counter has 4 different counting options. The first three options shown below
provide the option to use or turn OFF the counterfeit detection feature.You can also use ADD or
BATCH mode functions. Refer to section as outlined in this manual for further details
1. Mix Value Counting Mode : In Mix Value Counting Mode, the bill counter can be use
with mixed banknote denominations (e.g. $5, $10, $20, $50, $100) at the same time.
You cannot mix different currencies (e.g. Canadian and US currency together). Mix Value
Counting will provide total value counted by banknote denomination.
2. Detect Mode : In Detect Mode, the bill counter will count the number of banknotes a
display the total number of banknotes counted.
3. Sort Mode : In Sort Mode, the bill counter will recognize the first banknote that goes
through and continue to sort based on that banknote denomination. If another
banknote other than the first bill is detected, the bill counter will display an error code
informing the user of the different denomination. (e.g. If the first banknote is a $20 bill,
then in Sort Mode, the bill counter will continue to sort $20 bills. If another denomination
is detected (e.g. $10), the bill counter will stop and display an error code message.
4. Count Mode : In Count Mode, the bill counter will count the total bills without any
denomination recognition providing total amount counted.
CONTROL PANEL AND OPERATION
Your unit has been factory defaulted to the most popular bill counter setting of Canadian
Mixed Denomination Counting mode with counterfeit detection ON. Unless you wish to
change settings on the bill counter, you now are ready to start using the bill counter- please
follow Quick Start Guide section as outlined in the previous page. To change control panel
settings and for advanced features, refer to pages 6-8.
