Commissioning
Observe EN 12056-4 for the commissioning.
5.1
Checking the system
Check the following points before commissioning:
Correct installation of the pump(s)
Fixing of all removable components
Leak-tightness of the system
Mains voltage (max. deviation ± 10 %)
Correct fit of the elements for level detection
System is clean and free of building debris
5.2
Commissioning the system (Tronic variants with control unit)
Initialising the control unit
Supply control unit with mains power.
The initialisation starts and the 4 LEDs illuminate consecutively, a signal tone sounds and the wastewater pump is
switched on for a few seconds.
After successful initialisation, the control unit is ready for operation and the green LED (1) illuminates.
Functional check
Switch the system off (pull out mains plug).
Open the cover plate on the system.
Fill the system tank fully with water.
The level must reach the opening of the cover plate.
Reinstate the control unit power supply (plug in the mains plug).
The control unit will initialise.
The functional check is successful if the following procedures are carried out as described:
Level alarm is triggered, the alarm LED (2) flashes red, a signal tone is generated and the wastewater pump starts to
empty the system tank.
After reducing the level below the alarm threshold, the alarm LED (2) extinguishes and the two orange LEDs (level (3)
and pump operation (4) / (5)) illuminate until the system tank has been emptied by the wastewater pump.
Visual inspection:
Once the wastewater pump has stopped running, only a few centimetres of water should be left in the system tank.
Fasten the cover plate back onto the system.
The system is ready for operation
