RISK OF ACCIDENT DUE TO BRAKE FAILURE OR REDUCTION OF BRAKING FORCE DUE TO DIRTY BRAKE PADS OR BRAKE ROTORS!
Brake pads and brake rotors must not come into contact with lubricating substances such as oil, grease (including skin grease), wax, silicone, Teflon etc.! Brake pads or brake contact surfaces contaminated in this way
must no longer be used!
After your ride, you should clean your bike thoroughly using a soft cloth and clear water. Never use a high pressure washer! Stubborn dirt can be removed with special cleaning agents for bicycles and their
components. Pay attention to the notes and recommendations for use printed on the respective cleaner. After having cleaned your bike, you must lubricate the chain (see „Chain maintenance").
Pay particular attention to cleanliness in the area of the moving parts of the fork and the shock. Dirt in this area may cause premature wear and thus decrease the performance of your suspension elements.
CHAIN MAINTENANCE
The bike chain is the most important part of the drivetrain system. An oily chain attracts dirt and thus accelerates wear.
Please regularly follow the steps below to ensure a long and reliable service life of your chain:
