WARNING
There is a risk of serious injury when working with compressed air.
f Always use safety glasses during work.
f Always attach the application tool to the attachment ring behind the casing so that the compressed air
connection is not strained.
f Ensure that the compressed air connection is not damaged and is connected correctly.
f Do not use pressure cylinders as a source of compressed air.
f Disconnect the compressed air supply before performing any repairs, maintenance or replacing parts.
CAUTION
There is a risk of injury when pulling the trigger and tightening the cable tie, or when using unsuitable
cable ties.
f Always use safety glasses during work.
f When pulling the trigger, make sure that no limbs are between the cable tie and cable bundle.
f Use only HellermannTyton nylon cable ties.
NOTE
Material damage can result from improper operation of the application tool.
f Attach a retaining strap attachment ring
f Set the desired tension force (see section "Tension force").
f Apply the cable tie

f Pull the end of the strap
f Tighten the cable tie by hand so that the cable tie rests tightly against the cable bundle.
f Push the open side of the nose piece
f Place the front of the nose piece at a right angle and flush to the head of the cable tie.
f Keep pulling the trigger
